SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

- symbiotic binary stars (binary stellar systems consisting of a cold red asymptotic giant (Mira-type star) and a hot white dwarf/neutron star) - radiative transfer of the stellar radiation through the circumstellar dusty shell around the red giant
- radiatiive transfer and dust emmission in the circumstellar environment of the young stellar objects, mainly Herbig and T Tauri stars, including the presence of the protoplanetary discs (numerical modelling by the use of the DUSTY code)
- atmospheres of the OB supergiants (numerical modelling of the spectra in ultravioler spectral region, non-LTE TLUSTY models of the atmospheres)
- meteor astronomy - meteor observation and detection in the visual and radio, as well as detection on the ultralow frequencies (ULF), construction of the multi-instrument geophysical and astronomical station for meteor detection
- referee for Astrophysical Journal and Serbian Astronomical Journal
