The Faculty of Physics at the University of Rijeka proudly hosted and co-organised the European WRF-Chem Workshop 2026<\/em>, held from 12 to 14 May 2026. The event brought together researchers and practitioners from across Europe and beyond to discuss the latest advances in atmospheric modelling, air quality research, and applications of the WRF-Chem model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By hosting this international workshop, the Faculty of Physics further strengthened its position within the global atmospheric science community and highlighted its successful collaboration with leading international research institutions, including the Institute of Atmospheric Science and Climate and the Forest Modelling Lab from the Council of National Research of Italy. The workshop provided an excellent platform for presenting cutting-edge research, exchanging expertise, and fostering new scientific collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gathering of experts in Rijeka underscores the Faculty\u2019s growing international visibility and its commitment to advancing research in atmospheric sciences, climate processes, and air quality through strong partnerships with renowned institutions worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
