The Fifth Rijeka School of Physics
Applications are now open for the Rijeka School of Physics, which will be held from 29 March 2026 to 2 April 2026 at the Faculty of Physics, University of Rijeka.
Are you interested in physics, research, experiments, or do you simply want to see what real scientific work looks like? This year, the Rijeka School of Physics is introducing a completely new, mentored format – and it is looking for you.
Over five days, you will fully immerse yourself in the world of science: choose a topic that interests you, work one-on-one with mentors from the Faculty of Physics, and at the end, present your mini-project to an audience – just like in a real scientific paper.

Who can apply?
Motivated secondary school students, especially those in the 2nd and 3rd years, from across Croatia and abroad. The number of places is limited, and selection ends on 1 February 2026.
